    Outstanding Arkansas 4-H Alumna, 2012


    Kimberly Bowen Yarbrough has been active in 4-H for the past thirty years. She was an active member of Benton County 4-H. During her 4-H career she held many club and county offices, as well as serving as state Secretary and President for Arkansas 4-H. The highlight of her 4-H career was being named the 1990 Arkansas Governors Award winner.

    She went on to be an active member and officer of the University of Arkansas's Collegiate 4-H and FFA club. She was an active member of Alpha Phi Omega and served on the U of A's Union Governing Board. Kimberly was a member of the National Junior Angus Association's National Board and served as their Leadership Chairman.

    Kimberly is married to Brian and they have two daughters who are very active in 4-H, Ashton and Kendall. She is a 5th grade math teacher at Ardis Ann Middle School. She is a volunteer leader in Benton County and also serves on the Benton County 4-H Foundation Board. She started Benton County's first school 4-H club, the Spring Hill 4-H Club, this past year. She is also currently serving on the Arkansas 4-H Alumni Board.
