    Perry County

    Outstanding Arkansas 4-H Alumna, 1998

Ettamarie was a member of the Rousers 4-H Club near Willow Springs in Howell County, Missouri. The leaders of the club were Louise Gaulden and Wayne Brummett.

Her projects were Sewing, Cooking, and a Dairy heifer. She still remembers that the first demonstration she did was how to sew on a button.

She became a member of the Arkansas 4-H family when her son, John, turned nine and joined the Casa 4-H Club in Perry County. She served as leader of the Casa 4-H Club until well after her three children graduated out of 4-H. She is now a resource person in Perry County and surrounding counties, willing to help wherever or whenever asked. She has judged record books and served on state committees.

Ettamarie was named an Arkansas 4-H Alumni of the Year, Arkansas 4-H Life Volunteer of the Year in 2006, and Perty County Volunteer of the Year in 2006.

Ettamarie and her late husband, Louis, have three children and five grandchildren.
